SuperCovo ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our AI-powered resume tailoring service at supercovo.com ("the Service").
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication details (via email/password or Google OAuth).
Profile Data: Professional information you provide, including work experience, education, certifications, skills, and contact details. This data is stored in structured form and used solely to generate tailored resumes.
Job Descriptions: Job descriptions you paste into the Service for alignment analysis and resume generation.
Generated Documents: Resumes and cover letters generated by the Service based on your profile data.
Payment Information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We receive only transaction confirmations and subscription status from Stripe.
Usage Data: We may collect basic usage information such as pages visited, features used, and error logs to improve the Service.
We use your information to: provide and improve the Service; generate tailored resumes and cover letters; process payments and manage subscriptions; send transactional emails (e.g. generated documents); communicate service updates; and comply with legal obligations.
Your profile data and job descriptions are processed by third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude) to generate tailored resumes and cover letters. This processing occurs in real time and your data is not retained by the AI provider beyond the duration of the request. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure). We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), Row Level Security (RLS) on database tables, and secure authentication via Supabase Auth. Uploaded resume files are processed in memory and are not permanently stored — only the structured data extracted from them is retained.
We use the following third-party services to operate SuperCovo:
Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Anthropic (Claude) — AI resume generation. Stripe — payment processing. Resend — transactional email delivery. Google APIs — Google Docs export (only when you explicitly authorise). Vercel — application hosting.
Each third-party service has its own privacy policy. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. If you use the Google Docs export feature, we request access to create documents in your Google Drive. We do not access, read, or modify any existing files in your Google Drive. You can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings.
We retain your account data and generated documents for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Credit and payment records may be retained for accounting and legal purposes.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; export your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent for data processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@supercovo.com.
We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). If you believe we have breached your privacy, you may lodge a complaint with us at hello@supercovo.com or with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. These cookies are necessary for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this policy was last revised.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, contact us at hello@supercovo.com.
